The minute I shut the door I key the ignition, and reggaeton starts blaring, drowning out the 4x4 time of In the Cross we finished singing 4 minutes prior. I exhale loudly to myself and can't stop grinning. I take a swig of the now warm Red Bull still in my cup holder and back out, singing along in what probably sounds like a mix of Spanglish and retard.
I listen to Llamada de Emergencia at least 6 times. On Repeat.
After getting another Latte from a drive through, I hand over all the change from my purse and car door to the homeless guy on the corner. I roll down the passenger window and drop it in his hands. I figure he won't mind its overwhelmingly pennies. "Its all the cash I got!" I say, and roll my window back up.
It's true. I don't carry cash.
I bounce along singing "Ven aqui rapido, ven aqui rapidooooooo" as loud as I can on the way home.
I guess its a pretty good day!
